Many on our team just got back from Ireland, where the 24-7 Prayer international gathering convened in Belfast. Over 60 different nations leaned in to this time together, with every continent except Antarctica represented. We will update on this time and all that God did very soon! Stay tuned; it was all incredibly profound. The Lord is moving in powerful ways across the globe!

This is a quick update to give you all the details on the Tent Gathering, hosted by Awaken the Dawn (in partnership with over 15 different area churches and ministries), happening over the next ten days in Fort Mill, SC. We want to invite you to lean into several opportunities!
First opportunity!
First and foremost, if you are anywhere in the region or near the Carolinas, come join us as we make space to be with the Lord and with each other! Awaken the Dawn describes the event like this:
“We are making a space in the massive tent for day and night worship, creativity, prayer, and gospel proclamation for ten days straight! This is not a conference. This is a festival. It is a prayer meeting. It is a space for the presence of the God in a region. A table is being set for a generation to drink deeply. There is one spectacle—the person and presence of Jesus!”
We kick off tonight at 7 PM, November 6th, and will go every day thereafter until Sunday, November 15th, with sessions at these times (except for Sundays, where instead of morning and noon sessions we will have Church in the Tent from 10 AM - 12 PM):
9 AM
12 NOON
7 PM
Nightwatch: 10 PM - 7 AM
Detailed schedule can be found here. Come anytime! Address is 2004 Causeway Lane, Fort Mill, SC 29715. Parking is in various lots nearby; follow the signs when you get close.
Second Opportunity!
York County Prayer is partnering with Awaken the Dawn for this event. The Carolina Prayerstream will be parked beside the Tent and available for people to come by, learn the story of how we got it, hear the vision the Lord has been giving our team for it, and find out ways to get involved. There will be a sign with a QR code at all times directing people to the information, but we would also love to have volunteers “manning” the Prayerstream during and around the hours the Tent Sessions will be on.
What does this involve?
We will have a few camp chairs and a table in front of the Prayerstream, with a QR code to the website and information. We are looking for volunteers passionate about prayer who would be willing to sign up for an hour or more to sit and talk to people who come by. You will be ready to answer any questions about York County Prayer, the Rock Hill Prayer Room, and the Carolina Prayerstream (we will debrief you) and to direct them to the websites. You will invite them to go into the Prayerstream and write their prayers/blessings onto the walls or “bones” of the unit before we convert it into the Mobile Prayer space. You will pass out any materials we have at the Table, and be ready to pray with/for anyone who needs it!
The Prayerstream will be set up to speak for itself even if there are no volunteers to man it, but we definitely would love to have people there as much as we can! Person-to-person contact is where the real beauty happens, and this is a relational movement. We want to open up this incredible opportunity to our wider York County Prayer and Tables communities. You can find the sign-up link here with the hours that are available. Scroll through the arrows at the top to see the dates, and scroll down to see all the available times.
We are looking for any volunteers between the hours of 6 AM - 2 PM and 6 PM - 10 PM daily (Sundays are a little different as you will see on the schedule) to man the Prayerstream.
Once you sign up, I will contact you with further information! Feel free to message me with any questions.
Third Opportunity!
York County Prayer will also be stewarding several night watches. If you are interested in helping to lead any of these hours (with worship or prayer), please email me at lanashaw@gmail.com.
